Co-founder and MD of Shout, Alan's background encompasses Electronic Engineering, Sales and Management across the Consumer Electronics, IT, Structured Cabling and Telecommunications industries.
Alan has held Senior Sales and Team Leader/Management roles in the telecommunications sector since 1996, working in both large organisations like Telsis, Colt Telecom and Thorn EMI, through to smaller niche players.
Alan has a friendly, open and honest approach to business, thriving on innovation and creating true partnerships that provide a 'win win' outcome.
David Thorne - Technical Director
David has worked in roles such as Special Projects Engineer and Systems Development Manager for the likes of Saudi Basic Industries where he developed computerised systems which assisted the growth of the company from a small enterprise to a business with a turnover of $400M.
Co-founder of Shout, David and Alan met at Telsis where David was responsible for developing solutions for customers which were outside the company's product set. His role is to now guide the engineering team at Shout to develop its product set to provide enhanced technical functions for their customers.
David's vision is to build Shout into a recognised partner for technology companies and provide solutions and expertise for their problems, allowing them to be more competitive and efficient.
Nick Kaulbach - Business Development ConsultantNick is a business development professional with a history of delivering rapid & strategic business growth. Nick has successfully transferred blue chip Sales and Marketing experience across companies in B2B and B2C markets, in start-up; turnaround; and growth environments. Nicks background includes Supply Chain Management, Logistics and Telecommunications, where he has successfully delivered growth in a variety of roles up to and including Board Level positions. With a consultative strategic development role, Nicks role is to identify and develop relationships with existing and new clients in order to best deliver on Shout Telecoms core business offering, as well as developing a consultative approach that enables clients to present new opportunities and technical challenges that can be served by Shouts' excellent development team. Nick believes that a consultative and partnership based approach will ensure that Shout Telecoms remains at the forefront of innovative technical communications solutions, resulting in happy clients and assured business growth.
