INAP Gateway

The Shout INAP Gateway extends call control to an Application Server.

This allows new and innovative database driven web-enabled services to be quickly deployed. Controlling your INAP SSPs via an Application Server extends the life of your SSP investment and enables one Application Server and set of Applications to be used to control NGN switches in parallel with your INAP SSPs.

The Shout INAP Gateway terminates and creates TCAP dialogs, this allows the INAP Gateway to act as a border function between disparate INAP networks ensuring integration between different INAP versions and capability sets. The INAP Gateway supports SSP number translation applications, as well as SSP to IP temporary resource calls for efficient network usage.
